We will discuss various alternative fee arrangements and what you need to keep in mind when entering into the various ones.   An alternative fee arrangement that is right for one client matter may not be the right one in another situation.  Today we will discuss:

• How do you figure out the appropriate alternative fee for the situation
• What are some of the considerations to take into account with a fixed fee
• Inclusive scope statement verses an exclusive statement

Jon Lindrus is the Director of Pricing & Analysis at Foley & Lardner LLP, where he oversees pricing, alternative fee arrangements, profitability, and lateral partner acquisitions. In his role as director of pricing and analysis, Jon leads the firm’s rate setting process; develops financial analyses and benchmarks related to client and practice profitability; models and forecasts lateral acquisitions; and designs, implements and monitors pricing and alternative fee arrangements. Jon has almost 20 years of experience in legal.  Prior to legal Jon had various roles in the insurance industry and higher education.
